Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using AppTracker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What AppTracker does
AppTracker is an ASO (App Store Optimization) tool that tracks keyword rankings for apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play. It retrieves publicly available ranking data and uses AI to suggest relevant keywords based on app descriptions.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.
- You must provide accurate information when signing up.
4. Acceptable use
You may use AppTracker only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or overload the service or its data sources.
- Use the service for any purpose that violates Apple's or Google's terms of service.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercialize data obtained through AppTracker without our written permission.
5. Data accuracy
Ranking data is scraped from public app store search results and is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or real-time freshness of the data.
6. Public comparison snapshots
When you run a head-to-head comparison on AppTracker, we capture a snapshot of that comparison. By default, every snapshot is public and accessible at a canonical URL on our domain. By using the comparison feature you agree that:
- Public snapshots may be indexed by search engines and shared by third parties.
- The AI-generated analysis is automated, may contain errors, and is not a factual statement about either app or its developer; you will not rely on it as such.
- Public snapshots contain no information that identifies you as the user who triggered them.
- You can mark any of your own snapshots private at any time from the Snapshots page in your account.
App developers: if you find one of your apps in a public comparison and want it removed, use the Report comparison button on the public page or email us. We review every report and act on it manually.
7. AI output
Comparison analyses are produced by automated systems applied to public store data, screenshots, and recent user reviews. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fairness of any individual AI-generated finding, score, or recommendation. AI output should be treated as commentary derived from public information, not as a factual statement about an app, its developer, or its business performance.
8. Service availability
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
9. Intellectual property
All content, design, and code of AppTracker is owned by Bitlink GmbH. The data you create (your keywords, tracked apps, and ranking history) belongs to you and can be deleted by you at any time. App titles, descriptions, and screenshots displayed in comparisons remain © their respective developers; AppTracker uses them under commentary/review conventions and removes them on request via the takedown process described in section 6.
10. Limitation of liability
AppTracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitlink GmbH is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any reliance on AI-generated comparison content.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and ask you to re-accept on your next login.
